The ODU Jazz Orchestra
The ODU Jazz Orchestra is featured in multiple concerts every semester, performing standard and contemporary big band originals and arrangements. Each spring semester, the ensemble performs with a nationally known jazz artist as part of a five-day jazz residency sponsored by the Diehn Concert Series. Past artists include John Fedchock, Lori Williams, Houston Person, Katie Thiroux, Dick Oatts, Kenny Washington, John D'earth, Glenn Wilson, Nicki Parrott, Darmon Meader, Randy Brecker, Terrell Stafford, Bob Mintzer, Clark Terry, and John Abercrombie.
Auditions
