Residents also enjoy sunbathing, picnicking and cooking cook out, and they can even check out sailboats from the Sailing Center next door. [Click to enlarge] Two of the university's residence halls feature waterfront views. Rogers Hall (home of the First-Year Experience Program), located at the east end of campus, overlooks a scenic Lafayette River inlet, while Whitehurst Hall, on the west end, offers expansive views of the historic Elizabeth River. Features include spacious single rooms with private baths.
