Event to Share Overview of ODU’s Living-Learning Communities
Did you know that ODU has nine Living-Learning Communities?
They include students of a similar interest living together on our campus. Right now, the Living-Learning Communities focus on business, sciences, engineering, health professions, Honors College, ODU Explorers, Spectrum, Monarch Tech and ROTC.
ODU's Center for Learning and Teaching invites the University community to the next Connect with Colleague presentation on Thursday, Feb. 5 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. There, Leon McClinton, Jr., ODU's director of residence education (and an adjunct assistant professor in ODU's Higher Education Program), Neudy Nuñez, assistant director for academic initiatives and Jennifer Sloggie-Pierce, faculty coordinator for learning communities (and a lecturer in the English department) will share an overview of the nation's Living-Learning models, along with an in-depth review of ODU's Living-Learning Communities.
This Connect with Colleagues presentation will take place in the conference room at the Learning Commons@Perry Library. It is open to all in the ODU community.
