Across Campus - A Photo Essay

In this week's gallery, Old Dominion researchers Larry Weinstein and Tom Hartlove can be seen working on a project to repurpose a 20-year-old Large Acceptance Detector (LAD) that was used at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab), in Newport News. Once finished, the LAD which is part of the lab's unique particle accelerator, known as the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF) will be returned for use in a new project.
