Printing to Campus Printers

ITS supports networked printers and multi-function devices in all departments on campus. You can print to these printers from your ODU-managed workstation or from a personal computer connected to ODU's VPN.

MonarchPrint

The easiest way to print on campus is with MonarchPrint. Send a document to the MonarchPrint cloud and swipe into any Konica Minolta printer with your University ID card to release your print job.

(Because costs are automatically charged to your department when you swipe your University ID card at a machine, we need your budget unit director (BUD) to approve card access to MFPs. Start by filling out this form.)

ODU-managed desktops

The MonarchPrint queue is pre-installed on all ODU-managed desktop computers.

  1. Select MonarchPrint as your printer.
  2. Walk up to any campus printer within 24 hours and swipe your University ID Card in the card reader.
  3. Touch the print icon, select the name of your print job, and then push the Start button.
  4. Remember to log out when you are finished printing.
