WebEx is a cloud-based web conferencing service available to ODU faculty and staff that allows users to host and participate in meetings over the Internet.

Log in to WebEx

Getting Started

Activate Your Account

  1. Navigate to midas.odu.edu and log in with your MIDAS ID and password.

  2. Click on the "Activate Optional Services" link under Services.

  3. Select WebEx from the list of inactive services.

  4. Active your Webex by clicking the "Activate selected services" button. You will receive a confirmation email shortly welcoming you to WebEx.

  5. Users must submit a telecommunications work order in order to obtain access to WebEx phone audio. This request must be submitted and processed before you are able to use your phone to participate in WebEx conferencing.

Logging In

  1. Launch WebEx by clicking the log in button on this page OR navigate to odu.webex.com

  2. Select the "My WebEx" tab in the top left corner of the page and you will be directed to the log in screen.

  3. Enter your MIDAS ID and password and click "Log In". You are now ready to begin using the service.
