ODU's mailing list application manages email discussion lists via the web. Each mailing list has an individual web page that allows users to create and administer lists, as well as subscribe, unsubscribe, and adjust delivery options from any computer with Internet access. If you are subscribed to any email listss you wil receive a monthly reminder of what lists you are subscribed to and the passwords for those lists.
Please note that only faculty and staff can create mailing lists. If a student group needs to create a list, their faculty advisor must create the list for the group.

- Users can control their own subscriptions
- Easier to manage than a simple distribution list for large groups of recipients
