Media Relations focuses on promoting the research accomplishments and expertise of faculty, helps prepare guest opinion pieces and connects media outlets with University experts. The Office of University Relations is the official producer of news about Old Dominion University and manages the University's relationship with news, information, and entertainment media that results in major media coverage and that is showcased on the University's website. University Relations staff raise public awareness about the University by producing news releases, videos, social media and photos related to research, arts, events and faculty, student and staff activities at Old Dominion. Our staff is available to offer strategic communications counsel to University departments.
