Admission

You may complete 12 credits before being admitted to the program

You will need to work with two faculty members — Dr. Lucking and Dr. Overbaugh.

All paperwork is required to be submitted to Dr. Bob Lucking (rlucking@odu.edu) who is the official Graduate Program Director for Secondary Education (Dr. Overbaugh is the program director for ID&T)

You may discuss admissions requirements with Dr. Lucking and then seek academic advising from Dr. Overbaugh (roverbau@odu.edu) or vice versa. You may take up to 12 credits before being admitted to the program. You can also be admitted anytime during a semester as the processing is done electronically via e-mail.

This information is not considered “official.” Visit the graduate admission requirements page for the College of Education.
