Educational Background

I earned a BS in Biology and Geography from Frostburg State College. I’ve taught in Maryland, Illinois, Louisiana, and Virginia. During the time we were in the Chicago area, I completed my Master of Science degree with Biology major.

Work

Throughout the years, my interest in technology and curriculum has grown. Currently, I am a Technology Director for a public school system, and wear a variety of hats. I’m definitely interested in the ID & T PhD.

Other Interests

I have a strong interest in genealogy. As a member of the Mayflower Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, I find investigating family history to be an intriguing project.

Cooking and reading are two my two favorite hobbies. My favorite dogs are Yorkshire Terriers, and if I ever decide to get another pet, that would be my choice.

With grown children, being an “empty nester” provides other opportunities. My husband, of 31 years) and I are looking forward to this time in our lives.
