Scholarly Pursuit

I am hoping to complete my degree pursuit for 2 selfish reasons: (1) it's great for military promotion boards and (2) I hope to possibly use the "technology" side of the degree to create or establish some type of distance learning environments in impoverished countries to help deliver the Word.

Professional Activities and History

I attained my AS degree in Administration of Justice from a community college in Northern California (Yuba College).  I enlisted in the US Army (as an MP) shortly after attaining the AS and a couple of years later was back in school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (Go Runnin' Rebels!).  I received my BA in Sociology in 1992 but did not start my work for a Master's Degree until August 2002 at Old Dominion University.
 

Background

I’m an Air Force brat but couldn't take the lack of discipline so I joined the Army (joke).  I spent most of my life in California with a short 2 year stay in Panama as a child - I was there when the canal was signed over to the Panamanians.  Graduated from HS in 1986 and married my high school sweetheart on 30 July 1988.  I am happily married with 2 loving children (Mitchell is my 11 y/o son and Madison is my 9 y/o daughter).  We also have 3 dogs and a cat - anybody need an animal?  My house and family presently reside in Copperas Cove, Texas - right outside of Fort Hood, Texas.  I already mentioned that I enlisted in the Army as an MP but when I got commissioned I became a Signal officer - those folks are the communications specialists.
