Tom Spencer has been with Old Dominion University since spring of ’97. His main areas of expertise are telecommunications and technology integration. He is also the engineering and applied physics instructor at the Chesapeake Center for Science and Technology. Tom is a former National Science Foundation Teacher Experiencing Antarctica (TEA.) While in the TEA program Tom developed and conducted the Antarctic Telecommunications Program, an interactive program connecting students in the US to science being conducted in the Antarctic
