Go to http://www.odu.edu/af/occs/stu_accounts.html Click on "Student email account" and "Student LAN account" to read info on each Then click on "Online Request" for each (please do this before you arrive) The LAN account is needed to log onto the computer and use it The Email account is needed to used odu's email If you are bringing a computer--you must have an ethernet card and cable. There is 1 connection per student in the rooms Call 757-683-6103 or email resnet@odu.edu if you need help or have problems Make sure you visit www.odu.edu/af/resnet/guides: This will have set up guides for your coputer. Print this out and bring with you before you arrive. This will tell you how to change the settings on your computer in order to use it on campus. There will be different guides for different versions of windows. If you plan to use the ODU computer labs: |
