How to Do If the Server Is Down

Please do not wait until the last day of the due dates to submit your online assignments, for our server is prone to be down when too many students are trying to interact with it at the same time, in which case, try going to the class website at http://www.odu.edu/educ/dwallen/eci301new/eci301c.htm by clicking "Checking Grades", for a testing.
A poping-up grade page indicates the server is working, and then check your end. Otherwise, the most effective way for you to do is to pick up your phone to call (757) 683-4998 and ask TAs to reboot the server. If TAs are not at office, please be patient to wait until TAs come to the office to reboot the server. Sending emails has little help in such an instance.

There are some occasions that ODU server is down so that you cannot do any of your assignments online including Blackboard. That is a situation really beyond our control. All you have to do is to wait, or contact ODU OCCS at (757) 683-6103 or 683-3192 for help.
