How to do Group Discussion

Step 1. Go to homepage: http://www.odu.edu/educ/dwallen/eci301new/eci301c.htm
Under the Group Discussionsection section, click on Blackboard Login.

Step 2. Click on Login.

Step 3. Fill in the USERNAME with the prefix of your ODU email address. The username should be wdavidx008 if the email address is wdavidx008@odu.edu. Then put in the password of your ODU email account.
Click Login button after username and password are entered.

Step 4. Suppose a student called Han has logged in, he’ll see the following screen. Then please click on Courses.

Step 5. Real Class students click on Course ID: 200410_FALL_ECI301_12417

Online students click on Course ID: 200410_FALL_ECI301_17647

Step 6. Click on Communication.

Step 7. Click on Group Pages.

Step 8. Click on the hot link (underlined) Group 28, since Han is in Group 28, only group link 28 will be hot.

Step 9. Click on Group Discussion Board.

Step 10. Click on Group Discussion Question #1

Step 11. Click on Add New Thread.

Step 12. Enter your subject and message in the two blanks respectively.Then click on Submit.
