Dave Netherton

  • After a career as an Army Infantry officer, David was invited tot join the faculty as an Instructor in the Department of Vacational and Technology Department. In 2009, twenty four years later, he retired as Senior Lecturer and Program Leader for Markeitng Education, Training Specialist, and Fashion Programs in the Department of Occupational and Technical Studies. He continues to do research and teach an occasional course.

    He research was in devleoping programs that supported the use of Assitive Technology in Southeast Virginia, developing vocational programs for students with special needs, and encouraging the study of fashion merchandising.
