Brian Osborne

  • As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for seven years, I have been afforded many opportunities to grow and learn in the scope of my profession. In only two years of employment at SNGH, I was awarded the Lead Technologist position in my department. I volunteer my time to my coworkers as the educational coordinator for the entire radiology department, assisting technologists in the maintenance of continuing education requirements. I also have given guest lectures at local and regional society meetings, detailing the newest innovations in my field. My first obligation, however, is to my patient. I assure a positive healthcare experience at SNGH and have received many accolades for my work, including the Sentara Promise Award for Excellence in Patient/Customer Satisfaction. I am always interested in the changing face of Nuclear Medicine Technology, making sure that my department is on the cutting edge where new exams and techniques are concerned.
