There are research and teaching assistantships available to full-time graduate students entering the transportation engineering program. The assistantships typically pay student stipends and a portion of tuition and health insurance. The recipients of the assistantships are eligible for tuition waivers from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The assistantships provide students with the opportunity to participate in a range of sponsored research projects under the guidance of transportation faculty.
