Admissions:
Many of the admission applications can now be completed online. Check out the online application process from the Admissions web site under Prospective Students if you are looking into Freshman, Graduate, Non-degree, Reactivation/Readmission, or Transfer admissions.

Non-Degree Admissions and Registrations:
Non-Degree admission and registration assistance is available by appointment with Bill Mahaney, VBHEC Enrollment Services Coordinator.  Call Mr. Mahaney or Chantel Ross at 368-4100 or email him at wmahaney@odu.edu or email her at cross@odu.edu.  Appointments are available Monday through Thursday, 8am to 7:30pm and Friday 8am to 4:30pm during normal VBHEC operating hours.  Check the Center and University calendar for holiday closings.   Admission and registration assistance is also available on the main campus in Norfolk at the Admissions Office, phone 683-3685, and the Office of the Registrar, phone 683-4425, in Rollins Hall.

Book Purchases:
Students can purchase books through Old Dominion University Bookstore at the beginning of each semester in Room 167 for classes offered at ODU-Virginia Beach. Students can also purchase books online through ODU Express.  The new online bookstore replaces MBS Direct as the textbook source for ODU's Distance Learning students and is managed by efollett.com, a division of Follett Higher Education Group, which also manages the Old Dominion University Bookstore.

Computer Network Account Required:
Computers running Windows and equipped with internal CD-ROM are available in the Learning Commons. These computers are linked to the main Old Dominion University campus via a high speed network connection. An individual Student LAN (computer) account is required to use the computers in the Learning Commons, as well as the computers in the instructional labs.

Wireless Local Area Networking (WLAN):
WLAN is now available at VBHEC. You must have a valid Old Dominion University account (MIDAS ID) and a laptop with wireless capabilities.  For more information on requirements go to the Wireless LAN web page of OCCS.

Contact and Support on ODU main campus:
The ODU main campus Administrative Services Office provides customer service for telephone or walk-in customers. The hours for walk-in traffic are from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday in the lobby area of Rollins Hall at Old Dominion University main campus.

Evening service is available by telephone and email only, from 5 - 10pm, Monday through Friday. The only exception being Fridays that proceed a university holiday. To reach the office, call 757-683-3030 or email at tuition@odu.edu.

Services offered include general university information, registration information, student financial account assistance, financial aid assistance, and other student related services.
