  • Telecourse DVD Library and Viewing Carrels
The VBHEC maintains a DVD telecourse class recording library in the Learning Commons for the convenience of students who unavoidably miss a class or need to review a lecture.  Recordings must be viewed on the premise during our normal operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 10pm, and Saturday, 8am to 5:30pm.  Recordings are checked out with an ODU Student Identification Card on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved for viewing.  There are 8 viewing carrels in the Learning Commons, but only one DVD recording per class lecture, so plan accordingly.  When you wish to view a recording, you are required to sign out the DVD.  Headphones are provided, but you may bring your own headphones if you prefer.
****Remember that interaction with your instructor is a large part of the learning process and that some instructors prohibit viewing recorded class sessions.  Viewing a recording should primarily be a review strategy or a last resort if you must miss a class.
