Old Dominion University's Virginia Beach Higher Education Center is a state-of-the-art academic facility aligned with the University's Mission to promote the advancement of knowledge and the pursuit of truth.  Designed to support an array of graduate and undergraduate programs that meet the needs of the local community, ODU at Virginia Beach is a center of learning committed to the principle of free inquiry and to providing the highest quality of instruction to all of its students.

The Center's strategic location in the Princess Anne Commons Academic Village district of Virginia Beach makes it convenient for students transferring to the University for baccalaureate degrees, and for health and other professionals seeking to further their undergraduate and graduate education.  Graduate programs available at the beach location include Master of Science degrees in health sciences, business, engineering, and education.  Undergraduate degrees include interdisciplinary studies-teacher preparation, business administration, communication, psychology, health sciences, human services, and others.

Old Dominion University at Virginia Beach is also home to the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology and the Institute for Learning in Retirement.  In addition, the Center provides space as available to non-profit organizations and offers special events that are free and open to the public.

Information about the Center's programs and events, as well as those co-sponsored with Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University's partner at the Virginia Beach Higher Education Center, can be found on the pages of this website and/or by calling the Center at (757) 368-4100.
