Licensing the University's Name

Old Dominion University has a formal licensing program to protect the use of the University's name and insignias and to ensure that the University's name, logos and marks are used appropriately.

All merchandise imprinted with the University's name or marks must be approved through the University's Institutional Advancement Licensing Office. Merchandise intended for resale or promotional purposes must be produced by a licensed vendor.

To obtain a vendor license and approval of all artwork contact the Institutional Advancement Licensing Office. Royalties generated from this program are used to fund athletic and academic scholarships.
