Continuing Your Benefits
(NOTE: Students attending distance learning sites outside Virginia will have your benefits certified by your site director.)
- As long as you remain continuously registered we will submit a 1999 form to the VA on your behalf.
- If you have a break in your enrollment you must submit a Veterans Clearance Form to restart your benefits.
- We will track all changes to your schedule, so you do NOT have to contact us if you add or drop a course.
- If you are an Active Duty military member, or MEM Ashore student, please complete a Veterans Clearance Form each semester after you register for classes.

- All students using benefits under Chapter 30 and 1606 must verify enrollment monthly with the VA by calling 877-823-2378 or verify online through WAVE.
- If you change your major, you must complete a Change of Program or Place of Training Form.
