ANNOUNCEMENT
ADVISOR BLOCKS MUST BE MOVED BEFORE YOU CAN REGISTER!
Advisor blocks are placed on all degree-seeking students' records until you have met with your academic advisor (distance learning students should meet with their site director). This block will prevent registration until it is moved by your advisor during the advising session.
When checking your holds in LEO Online be sure to check the effective date of the hold. "Future" holds are visible but do not impact registration or other activities until their effective date.
Making Your Advising Session More Productive
Before you meet with your advisor, generate a new degree evaluation and take it with you to your meeting.
The DegreeWorks tool is available in myODU to help students monitor progress toward graduation and to help with course planning. Courses you are currently taking will show as "in progress" and will not meet degree requirements until your grade(s) for the current term have been rolled into your academic history.
Not Sure Who Your Advisor Is?
See Academic Advisors by College or contact the departmental office for your program.
