Short - term affiliated programs are run by unversities and/or program providers that are affiliated with ODU. All of these programs are approved by the Office of Study Abroad. Study abroad programs can be an excellent way to work on proficiency in a second language. Students usually earn up to 6 transfer credits in the target language for a summer program. Information on each of these options can be accessed from the links below. In addition to these programs, there are dozens of other language programs which could be approved for Old Dominion students, in these languages and in many others. Contact the Office of Study Abroad for more information on intensive language programs.
