UTRIP:
University of Tokyo Research Internship Program
In Summer 2012, the Graduate School of Science at the University of Tokyo will implement a research project program, UTRIP, which will send two groups of undergraduate students interested in science careers to the University of Tokyo for six weeks. The first group on this program is from June 18, 2012 to July 27, 2012, the second group is from July 2, 2012 to August 10, 2012.

This grant program covers the cost of housing, airfare and a living stipend for the 6 weeks that students spend in Tokyo.

Program Eligibility:
· Undergraduate student enrolled in junior or senior year of a Bachelor program. Graduating seniors may apply.
· Enrolled in a natural science major or other relevant field.
· Interest in pursuing a long-term career in science.
· Available to participate in and carry out a six-week, full-time research project.
· International health insurance* (the Office of Study Abroad will be able to assist with this)
Highlights:
· Visit and study in an exciting, world-renown city
· Prepare and present a self-designed research project with the aid of international scholars in your field
