The Old Dominion University Anime Club was founded by the club's first president, Rachel Klein, in 2001.

ODU Anime was created to help anime fans connect and network as well as promote anime as as hobby... it's also nice to watch anime on big screens...

The club is currently in its seventh year of operation.
