The first commencement program, for the colleges of Arts and Letters, Engineering and Technology, and Sciences, featured Jay Harris (left) as speaker, who was greeted by Big Blue prior to his address. The 1987 graduate was a mascot during his student days. See Page 7 for more commencement photos.
