Forum on race and class in the news set for Sept. 26

"Fair Play: A Community Conversation on Race, Class and Ethnicity in the News," will be be held from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in the North Cafeteria of Webb Center.

Local journalists and community members will explore questions such as the meanings of class and race; how perceptions of class and race shape local news; and how citizens can help the media improve coverage. The forum is sponsored in part by the Office of the President.
