Pumpkin Principles

Students from Desmond Cook's Physics 231 class celebrate the survival of their gourd at the Society of Physics Students' annual Pumpkin Drop Oct. 30. More than two dozen pumpkins were dropped from the Batten Arts and Letters roof onto catching devices below to demonstrate various physics principles.
