Awards

SUSAN KENT, eminent professor of anthropology, a grant from the Wenner-Gren Foundation for summer 2002 to continue her excavations at a Middle Stone Age archaeological site located in the eastern Free State of South Africa.

LEONARD I. RUCHELMAN, eminent scholar of urban studies and public administration, designated as a Distinguished Scholar in Public Administration by the Virginia Social Science Association.
