Old Dominion University magazine, which is published three times a year for alumni and friends of the university, recently won an Award of Excellence in the CASE District III Advancement Awards program for “Magazine Publishing Improvement.”

CASE is the Council for Advancement and Support of Education; District III encompasses the southeastern states.

John R. Broderick, vice president for institutional advancement, heads the magazine’s editorial board. Steve Daniel, Office of University Relations, is editor of the magazine, and Karen Smallets, Office of Publications, is the art director.
