I can't speak for the other two Old Dominion families that the (July 22 apartment building) fire affected - Queenie English and Eddie Cornelius - but I'm sure that, like me, they want to thank the Old Dominion community from the bottom of their hearts for the generous outpouring that was shown to us in a time of need.

It has been a trying time for us all, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the campus community for all of their help with clothing, household goods and money. It's nice to know that you have friends that care.

I would also like to thank Bob Kowalke, HACE president, and the ODU Credit Union for their assistance. Thank you all.
