F. Richard Whalen, director of military activities, was quoted in a May 3 Business Week story about the M.B.A. classes Old Dominion is offering via TELETECHNET to sailors aboard the USS Roosevelt. Whalen and Patricia Bellin Strait, adjunct associate professor of management, also were quoted about the program in The Washington Times' "Inside the Beltway" column.
Jim Cross, manager of the university wind tunnel, was quoted in an April/May Air & Space magazine story about the wind tunnel's focus on testing race cars. He also was quoted in an Associated Press story about the wind tunnel that ran in newspapers across the country, including the Prince George's Journal, the Lawrence County (Tenn.)
