Kevin Gallup, adjunct professor of art, was quoted in a Jan. 9 Chronicle of Higher of Education story about the lion statue he sculpted for the university.
Chuck Thomas, university photographer, recently had two color photos published in the Chronicle of Higher Education. The first, on Nov. 14, was a picture of Amadi Hummings, assistant professor of music, showing a young boy in a Norfolk public housing neighborhood how to play the viola. The second, on Jan. 9, was a picture of the new lion statue being lowered onto its pedestal in the Webb Center fountain.
