President John Broderick announced today that ODU’s athletic programs have entered into a membership agreement with Conference USA, and that the university will seek reclassification of its football program from the NCAA Division I FCS to the FBS, effective July 1, 2013. (Full Story)

These students were among a relatively few who were out and about on campus the week following spring commencement. Things got busy again, however, with the start of summer school sessions 1 and 3 on Monday of this week. Session 2 classes begin Monday, May 21.
