Hampton Roads NROTC Consortium met on Saturday,
September 20th, at Naval Station Norfolk for their annual battalion

to come together and get to know one another. The students participated
in flag football, volleyball and tug-of-war, and there were inflatable
rides for the little ones. The day was a great success and the weather
was beautiful. Hampton Roads NROTC looks forward to a very exciting

Sept 2008-
The Old Dominion University Army ROTC and Hampton
Roads Navy ROTC Consortium marked the tragic events of September
11, 2001, with a remembrance run this morning. This event serves
as a reminder for the students and staff of why they have volunteered
to answer the call to arms as an officer in their respective branches,
carrying out the proud traditions of the United States Army, Navy
and Marine Corps. For the fourth consecutive year, these two units
have jointly held the Patriot’s Day Run that takes them around
the Old Dominion campus in a battalion formation that signifies
the joint fight we will face together in the future.
