Michael May joined Freddie Mac in 1983 where he currently serves as the senior vice president of Mortgage Sourcing, Operations and Funding (MSOF).

Prior to that, May held a series of executive level positions at Freddie Mac including senior vice president and chief operating officer of Single Family Operations, senior vice president of Customer Services and Control, vice president of Loan Prospector, Structured Finance, and Securities Sales and Trading Group.

May came to Freddie Mac from the Student Loan Marketing Corporation where he worked as an internal auditor. He is a certified public accountant and a certified internal auditor.

He graduated from Old Dominion University in 1981 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

May resides in McLean, Va., with his wife, Karen, and four children.
