Portfolio Development»Steps of Portfolio Development
- Meet with your degree program advisor.
- Submit an expanded resume for department faculty to review and approve. See Expanded Resume Samples.
- After receiving departmental approval, submit portfolio workshop application form; Access on-line portfolio workshop and video and receive guidelines.
- Experiential Learning assigns you to a faculty assessor and cohort group.
- Meet (e-mail/phone/fax) with faculty assessor, cohort group and/or Director of Experiential Learning as needed.
- Submit completed portfolio with assessment fee for each undergraduate course equivalent (section) or graduate course equivalent (section) to Experiential Learning. The assessment fee for each section is 50% of the in-state tuition, for a three-semester hour course.
- Experiential Learning sends portfolio to assessor(s).
- Faculty Assessor(s) review, make recommendation for credit award and return to Experiential Learning.
- Experiential Learning forwards the credit award recommendation to the student and the University Registrar.
