MET435W: Senior Design Project
The following guidelines provide information from a typical course syllabus for MET 435W and detailed requirements of what you should include in the portfolio. Students who have been approved to complete MET 435W via portfolio should contact their faculty assessor to review the portfolio expectations.
Course Description
A capstone course exercising upper level course work involving independent or group design projects. Students are required to collect data and synthesize a mechanical design. Submission of written reports and a final oral presentation are required.
Course Objectives
To show one's ability to create and complete a Mechanical Engineering design project. In the portfolio, you will provide a sample of previous design work in the Mechanical Engineering Technology field.
