CS312 Internet Concepts
Portfolio Reviewer: Janet Brunelle
Contact: brunelle@cs.odu.edu
The following guidelines provide a specific description of what should be included in the portfolio. Students who have been approved to do CS 312 via portfolio should contact the faculty assessor, Janet Brunelle, to review the portfolio expectations.
Typically the students requesting the credit should include in their portfolio:
- A copy of the syllabi for the courses they are challenging.
- A copy of the major assignments from the courses. Note: these are available via the faculty/instructor's website. Contact the instructor for more information.
Then students should prepare a summary of their work skills and course work (if applicable) that combined show mastery of the skills in the course through conceptual and hands-on learning as compared to the syllabus and assignments.
Students can then take the packet and prepare the portfolio, providing as many concrete examples of code, website URLs, etc... as they can.
Then the employer should sign - verifying the work experience as stated.
