MISSION
Equal opportunity for all is an American ideal, guaranteeing everyone the same right to employment and education. However, the ideal is not yet a reality; not everyone has been afforded equal rights. Whether it is intentional or not, discrimination still exists. Only through effective programs of affirmative action and strong commitment from the institution, to create a culture of diversity where all individuals and groups can engage in their differences in a process of mutual enrichment can we eradicate discrimination and accomplish equal opportunity for all.
Policy Statement
