Enrollment Matters Newsletter: Volume 1

Welcome to the first volume of the Enrollment Matters newsletter!

The goal of Enrollment Matters is to heighten the university community's awareness of activities on campus that influence enrollment, as well as trends in enrollment.   Managing enrollment begins with recruitment and continues beyond graduation as alumni return for another degree, participate in continuing education programs and promote Old Dominion University to their friends, neighbors and colleagues.

As committed educators it is our collective responsibility to create an environment that fosters student success.  The Office of Enrollment Management (EM) staff is committed to keeping the community abreast of resources, trends and best practices that can be used to enhance the quality of students academic experiences.

Another way to stay informed is to attend the upcoming EM University-Wide Topical Fora.  Refer to the EM Web site at www.odu.edu/ao/em for topics, dates, times and locations.
The EM staff invites you to share your best practices and  information about resources and even submit questions you may have about enrollment and retention.  Please send your questions and ideas to EM@odu.edu.
