Enrollment Matters Vol. 1:
Recruiting and Admission News
New Acceptance of Admission Code
Colleges can now see which students have accepted their offer of admission. This allows for targeted communication with students who have yet to commit to ODU and strengthening of relationships with students who have committed to the university.
After an admitted student submits their deposit their admissions record is updated with the new acceptance code, CF (indicating confirmed). The weekly admissions reports that college representatives receive will now indicate if the student has confirmed attendance using the CF code.

Graduate Admissions
The management of the graduate application process is changing because Citrine is being phased out as a result of the switch from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange. The new process will be managed using Banner, the campus-wide student information system. This system will allow more efficient document imaging and communication when reviewing and making application decisions. Because this will change the method of reviewing applications and making admissions decisions, a team of individuals is currently developing a plan to make this transition as easy as possible. As we prepare for this transition, training and additional information will be provided.
