Thank You

Old Dominion University

Membership in the Heritage Society enables you to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the students who attend Old Dominion University through a variety of Planned and Deferred Giving options. Heritage Society membership is open to any individual who has made a deferred commitment to the University. Membership is automatically conferred upon the University's receipt of documentation of the gift. The University encourages donors to allow their names to be published in its annual listing of Heritage Society members so that their generosity serves as an example to those who may want to consider similar gifts. However, Old Dominion respects the wishes of members who prefer to remain anonymous.

Deferred gifts provide invaluable benefits to donors by offering flexibility not found in other forms of charitable support. Through planned giving, supporters are able to make larger gifts than would otherwise be possible. A deferred gift may be the only way in which a person can support Old Dominion University. It often will be the largest gift a person makes to the University.
