Germaine Gauvin was our keynote student speaker at the 2008 Hugh L. Vaughan Scholarship Luncheon. She is originally from St. Mary’s, Kansas, and is double majoring in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Germaine will graduate in May 2009, and will continue her education by attending law school. |

The Virginia Business and Professional Women’s Foundation generously donated $499,999 to build Virginia’s first Foundation House, whose residents are full-time female ODU students who demonstrate financial need. Other considerations to be selected to reside in the house are high academic promise and achievement, well-articulated educational and career goals, and outstanding character, integrity and citizenship.
