This site is your central source for information about the commencement ceremony. Please read through each section to ensure that you have completed all of the necessary steps to graduate and participate in the commencement ceremony.

December 2008 Ceremonies

The ceremony in which you participate is determined by your academic college. You will automatically be assigned to the appropriate ceremony based on your academic college. Please check the list below to see what time your ceremony is.

Important Deadlines

December 2008 Candidates
April 30, 2008 Deadline to apply for graduation with the Registrar's Office
October 1-3, 2008 Graduation Fair University Village Bookstore Wednesday & Thursday hours: 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday hours: 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
October 27, 2008 Deadline to submit the Participation Form online
November 4-18, 2008 Reserved ticket distribution
November 4-24, 2008 Extra ticket lottery entry period (ticket lottery form will not be available until first day of entry period)
December 1, 2008 Lottery results email sent to those students who entered by the deadline
December 8-13, 2008 Commencement week activities (see Schedule of Activities for full details)
December 13, 2008 Commencement Ceremony 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
