The CMC is proud to be a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the leading source of information for career services practitioners on college campuses who advise students and alumni in career development and the employment process and for human resources professionals who recruit and hire college graduates.
Code of Conduct
The Career Management Center is proud to offer a full menu of services to all Old Dominion University students. Students using our services are expected to maintain professional standards of conduct in the job search at all times because these interactions reflect upon the reputation of the Career Management Center, Old Dominion University, and other students and graduates.

Privacy Policy
In order to facilitate candidacy for a career opportunity and/or for marketing purposes, students authorize the release of credentials, photographs, quotes, forms, transcripts and other verifications/documentation required by the employer and/or the Career Management Center to gain or maintain a position or to publicize the CAP program. Student obligations in the recruitment process include providing accurate information; adhering to schedules; accepting an offer of employment in good faith; notifying employers on a timely basis of an acceptance or nonacceptance and withdrawing from the recruiting process after accepting an offer of employment; interviewing only with employers for whom they are interested in working and whose eligibility requirements they meet; and requesting reimbursement of only reasonable and legitimate expenses incurred in the recruitment process. By publishing resumes or applying for jobs, students and alumni are authorizing the release of application documents to employers for job opportunities. Agreement to the University Honor Code and Acceptable Usage Statement for computing resources strictly applies.
Terms of Use
All resources on this site are available to Old Dominion University students and alumni free of charge. The CareerSearch service is available to currently enrolled students of Old Dominion University from on-campus computers only. Remote access accounts for CareerSearch may be provided to ODU students upon request, for a limited time. Fees are charged to employers to participate in Job Fairs; however. information sessions, information tables, and on-campus recruitment services such as posting of jobs, interview scheduling, and use of interview rooms, are free to employers and students or alumni interviewing for jobs.
