Weeding and Landscaping of Natural Garden

The Colonial Place/Riverview Civic League has a comminity garden to "Promote friendships, foster awareness of the environment, celectate our connections to each other and the earth, and beautify the neighborhood".  This garden was a recipient of a Beautification and Environmental Work Award from the Norfolk Environmental Commission.

Becky Kiser is looking for volunteers to weed the garden, turn the compost pile, take the cooked compost to needy places, moving plants, reset bed borders, cut back overhanging linbs, and add new plants as well as appreciative admirers of eco friendly gardens.
