Compliance Committee

President Runte appointed the Compliance Committee in July of 2005 to coordinate the expansion of ODU's existing compliance efforts to create a University-wide compliance program.  The committee is comprised of 19 members from across the University.  Deborah Rice, the Compliance Auditor was appointed to chair the committee and act as the coordinator of the program.

 

The Compliance Committee meets quarterly.  

 

Compliance Committee Mission Statement

 

The Compliance Committee will serve as the mechanism to facilitate coordination among all compliance and ethical components throughout the University.  The committee will provide the framework to promote prevention, detection, and resolution of instances of conduct that do not conform to Federal and State laws, regulations and requirements and internal University policies.
